What This List Is All About

Hello Everyone!

My name is Conor, and I recently decided to create this blog to share my beer drinking list with you all.  I have been keeping this list for about two and a half years now (when I was 22 years old).  It has grown into something which will almost certainly be the greatest accomplishment of my life (which is entirely embarrassing).  I'm very new to this, so it seems the best way to click "view full screen":

In the list, you will see:
  • the brewery name
  • location of that brewery
  • beer name
  • serving type
  • month and year of consumption
  • location of where the beer was had
    • "House" means either in Cincinnati or Lexington (usually Lexington)
  • a few short comments on the beer
  • and a grade.
I have recently included a section at the bottom that provides stats on the volume of beer from each state, and any foreign countries.  The list is color coded by the brewery's main color in its logo, and the main color from the beer's label.

Due to my location in Lexington, KY and my frequent trips to Cincinnati, OH, there is a heavy bias towards beers distributed to those regions.  However, some trips around the US and to other countries have broadened the list.

I hope you enjoy reading the list, and I hope it starts some discussion on the beers within.  Of course, my intent in doing this is take my own personal list to a public domain, in the hopes of furthering the exposure of all of these beers, many of which most people outside this region would never had come into contact.  I have made it interactive so you can sort the list any way you please.

Enjoy!  And any feedback, suggestions, and questions or talk in general is greatly encouraged.  I plan on updating this every Sunday.
